“When I needed a hand, I found your paw.”
–Anonymous
The loneliness you are feeling just won’t let up.
Each morning begins with that familiar feeling. I am all alone. Despite your attempts to reach out to friends and family, they just don’t seem to get it.
On the surface, everything seems ok. But deep down, you long for comfort and affection.
It doesn’t stop at loneliness. Isolation is causing your intense feelings of sadness and hopelessness to get worse.
Why does every day seem to be a mirror of the last?
An animal creates a different reflection.
Do you have memories entwined with happiness and hope that include an animal? Perhaps you shared a special bond, one that can never be broken.
Allowing your memory to float back, maybe you recall that special friend you had who walked with you through childhood, into adolescence, and adulthood.
That ever-present human-animal bond that always offered connection, comfort, and compassion. Listening that eased your loneliness. Their presence provided you comfort and unconditional love that calmed your anxiety.
These unspoken energies provide you healing in animal-assisted therapy.
When we long for comfort, sometimes we need that special ally.
When you feel as if no one is listening, they hear you.
Without ever saying a word, they are attuned to your spirit.
Their presence brings a sense of companionship and hope.
Animal-assisted therapy is a powerful tool that utilizes an animal throughout treatment. When a trained therapy animal is present, they create a distinctive and unspoken bond with the client, offering unconditional love throughout their therapeutic journey.
Research has shown numerous benefits to you, including reduced anxiety, increased trust, and regulated emotions.
Animals are incredible listeners and allies that can provide support as we embark on your journey toward healing and self-love.

Introducing “Ness”…
Ness came into my life when I least expected it. Her previous owner was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of skin cancer, and she knew she could no longer adequately care for her. So, she requested that Ness find a home where she could fulfill her destiny of helping others as a therapy dog.
Ness became a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, and together we’re a certified animal-assisted therapy team. Today, Ness is living out her previous owner’s dream by offering hope and healing to her clients.
“Pawsitively” present…
Ness is always listening, offering her calming energy, and reminding clients of the importance of living in the moment.
Ness is a calm reminder that you do not have to do this alone.
Pawse. Take a deep breath… you are ready to try something different.
Animal-assisted therapy supports clients in feeling safe, building awareness, confidence, and mindfulness. When Ness is working with clients, they report increased trust, openness, comfort, and ability to be vulnerable by sharing challenges and painful experiences.
Ness will help you discover your courage and activate your inner listener, helping you realize your internal dialogue. In therapy sessions, Ness becomes a reflection for achieving emotional stability and comfort, offering unconditional love and compassion.
Animal-Assisted therapy using Ness is always available to you throughout our work together. We will discuss if you would like Ness to be a part of your therapy during our first session. We will discuss any potential allergies, safety concerns, and sign a waiver to complete the process.
Working through challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief softens when an animal is present during therapy. When you interact with Ness, you may notice that it becomes easier to process traumatic experiences, express your feelings, and rediscover hope. Ness is passionate about working as a therapy dog and looks forward to working with every client.
